Working Hard and Hardly Working

Hey guys! I left off yesterday with the dance class. When Jeremiah got home yesterday, he caught me up on the past two lessons (it's a 4-week course). I thought, "oh no, he's gonna teach me wrong and I'll be ever further behind." In reality, he did such a good job teaching me that I was able to start right along with everyone else!

First, we went to dinner at Red Robin. One of Jeremiah's long-time friends, Adam, came along with us. After dinner we went to the dance class. I was nervous at first, but when we got there I saw that we were the youngest people in the class, by several years. Older people aren't nearly as judgemental when you make a complete idiot of yourself. In our salsa class, we learned the basic step, la cucaracha (so named because it looks like you're smooshing a cucaracha), the side step, the "she-turns-he-turns-she-turns, and the cross forward lead. The class is taught by a man and a woman (husband and wife??) They're both fantastic dancers! The way the class worked was the ladies would do the steps with one of the guys and then rotate to the next one. So we didn't even need to bring our own partners, everyone got to dance!

This morning I went to work with Liz, but I didn't do anything. By that I mean, I didn't actually work. Anyway, somebody brought in what they call oranges, but we decided they were tanjerines. Whatever they were, they were definitely delicious! Sandra works at the same place, and I'll tell you, they're cuter than a couple of Mexican jumping buttons!

Us three girls went to lunch at a place called Chipotles. It was very good, and I took a pic so you all could enjoy it with me (oh, don't act all surprised). That is a burrito bowl. Basically, it's a burrito without the tortilla. YUM! There's so much I want to tell you all RIGHT NOW, but there's just no time. I'll catch you up as soon as I can.
Love you all,
Katie Kate
